Fitzpatrick Optometrists Kingaroy bulk bills eligible consultations for person's with a Pensioner/Concession or Health Care Card along with children under the age of 18 years. Private patients are entitled to a Medicare rebate that can be processed electronically in office. Some conditions apply to out of hours or weekend appointments.
Q2. Can I claim my private health fund optical benefit ? A. Yes. All health fund members with optical cover can electronically claim their full benefit at Fitzpatrick Optometrist.
Q3. What age should I have my child's vision checked. A. We have methods of testing the sight of infants and pre-school age. Routine examination is recommended for children from prep age onward.
Q4. Do you participate in the QLD Government Spectacle Supply Scheme for concession/pension card holders? A. Yes. We can help you apply for spectacles via this scheme.
Q5. Do you provide spectacles for Department of Veteran Affairs Gold Card holders. A. Yes. We have a wide range of spectacles that we can provide at no cost to Gold Card holders.
Q6. Can I see you regarding sore or red eyes? A. Yes. We have optometrists that specialise in the diagnosis and treatment of minor eye conditions including infection, inflammation and foreign body removal. For more serious eye conditions we work closely with and refer to leading Ophthalmologists.
